A roundly conducted AFFR touch tournament
On Saturday 16 March, our friends from the Test Tubes in Soisy-en-Montmorency welcomed us to host the third mixed tournament. AFFR de touch Rugby. The terrain was very greasy but perfectly practical. The players were present from the Test Tubes (small staff), the XV of the Peloche (effective bell), the Frogscow (associated with Frogsbeefs), Rubytel (always present) and of course from the Folklos of Rugby Club (in number once is not customary).
After an effective briefing by Christophe, responsible for AFFR touch, Cyrille our president and Alexis endorsed their referee cap to explain the rules in their outline. After 120 minutes of briefing by our 2 acolytes (and non-alcoholic), the tournament was able to start in joy and good mood.
Organized on 2 quarters of the field, the 4 formed teams all met in matches of 2 x 10 minutes. Even though the main goal was not winning at any price, the RC Folklos won all their matches and actually won the tournament. Bravooooooo!!
Note: the excellent performance of our National Marine who, as the only representative of the female gente at Folklos, had the pleasure of playing all the encounters. She even had the luxury of scoring a magnificent try and almost scored a second on a sumptuous pass from the Honourable CaliFabio 😉
The morning ended with a nice snack in front of our guests' club house with the sun that had joined us.
